The neighborhood is highly residential, and mostly home to families. About 16,000 residents live mostly in row house and attached home units of no more than two bedrooms. Larger dwellings are also available, as are units in complexes and high rise apartments.
The average home sold for $429,500 in January 2006, but there is plenty of variety in the real estate market. Most homes range between $190,000 and $490,000, but many also go for as high as $650,000. Lincolnia has one of the lowers crime rates in the region. Parks – with hiking, walking, and biking trails – are near by. Residents have access to golfing, boating, fishing, bird watching, and other outdoor activities.
Cosmopolitan Washington is just a short drive away, with its museums, monuments, historic sites, premium restaurants, and rich cultural and nightlife.
